a story of three americans in paris trying to keep things platonic in the most unplatonic way possible. miriam hopkins steals the whole show. she’s sharp, funny, and magnetic. i love women and she just made me love them more :) lubitsch’s direction is pure joy. he moves through all the romantic chaos with such a light and cheeky touch. everything feels playful but never random!
