Two different characters, two different lives, two different phases of lives, two different responsibilities in lives - all these complexities in lives is shown beautifully in both cooper’s character and Dakota’s character. Even though they are going through different struggles in their lives, it seemed they had a spiritual connection, which is the only similar thing in them. Absolute goosebumps the way movie ended. Loved the dialogue “I have my daughter and fiancé who will define me rest of my life, you have only YOU to figure out what you wanna do in life”. This perfectly describes the two complex phases of lives that we all face in this world. Even though both were of different age, they try to be happy almost every second, Dakota’s character is scared to do what she want to do, it also seems like both are questioning themselves frequently but ultimately it’s in their own satisfaction comes the great joy. Growing up is indeed tough no matter we are 22 year olds or 35 plus. Cooper’s writing, direction and performance is indeed flawless with Dakota being yet another winning performer here. So many small things to love in this especially Andrew’s brother sweet love story and then Andrew’s stepdad trying to be close with family, Andrew’s relationship with Autistic Lola.  Both stepdad and Dakota’s fiancé aren’t the usual cliched characters that we see in such films. We tend to hate these characters in other such films but here it’s refreshing to see something different. Seems like I am writing too much. Loved it to the core.
