To put it briefly, this is the most craziest individualistic cinema in a long long time which comes very close to Gasper Noe’s bizarre horror musical film CLIMAX.  It’s an experimental cinema that tells the simple story in an elaborative full blown musical way. There’s one baby delivery scene and doctor/nurses are singing “Breathe in, breathe out, push, push” and if that was not weird enough, ECG heart line starts dancing too. Made me laugh so hard. I mean this is pure musical film from top to bottom irrespective of how crazy it can get at times. With all the boldness on the screen, screenplay doesn’t for a minute wanders. It’s water tight from beginning to end which made me go through all the bizarreness of it without a flinch and Adam Driver is PHENOMENAL. This is Oscar level performance by him and if this doesn’t get him award buzz, I don’t know what will in future.  I loved how Apple and Banana played as a representative of their current situation in both of their lives. Banana for Henry and Apple for Ann. In one important scene, the conductor is standing on one side and Adam’s character on the other. Rotten Banana is on the Adam’s side symbolising his male ego and messed up mind in that current situation. Whereas the conductor’s is pure, honest and so bananas aren’t rotten. Such things in films i really like even if some say “It doesn’t make sense”.  It’s a film that might make you stop in between or continue depending on your appetite for craziness  in the film. Nonetheless for me it was a weirdly enjoyable experience.
