Rewatched this after almost 2 years. In between, I’ve seen a ton of stuff, so yeah, I’ve got a lot to say now. If you hate Animal just because it’s violent or “misogynistic,” then sorry — you didn’t really watch it right. The OST and songs still bang, performances are top-tier — Ranbir absolutely delivered his career-best here. Yeah, there are a few moments that feel forced just to glorify the lead, which slightly drags the story down, but beyond that, it’s a damn solid film.
