oof, the movie was an interesting watch to say the least. it’s bold, weird, and honestly pretty brutal and uncomfortable at times. the way it ties everything back to the chola dynasty? super fascinating take. the characterizations were solid too. sure, it’s got its flaws, but they’re totally overshadowed by how ambitious the film is! the direction, music, performances, and sheer emotional intensity on screen are just wild. i really wish mainstream indian cinema took more risks like this in terms of screenplay and plot!
