A Quiet Place Part II2021

What was the son doing just wondering around only to get spooked by that dead corpse??? Ugh it was so unnecessary and frustrating. It only existed to move the plot forward.  I could see there being a part III where they start again at day 1 and fill in the gaps from then to the first movie. I’d be about it.  Still had fun with this movie, it felt like it flew by. Legit thought it felt like a 30 minute movie. And without looking into it that deeply I do have a theory that the guy and the daughter going to the island was so sort of symbol of white man being disease to a foreign colony. I especially thought this to be this case as the person that seemed to represent the island was a POC, and then died because of the fault of them brining that creature to the island. Like I said, not looking too much into it, but just had that passing thought.
