Artists bring their paintings to a museum exhibition, with the protagonist arriving at the last moment with his own work. The exhibition features modern art, including abstract paintings, photographic collages and examples of action painting. His own contribution stands apart: a representational painting of a cow against a backdrop of fields of grain.
