Clifford, a 78-year-old retired Coast Guard officer in Florida, rents out his fishing boat to ease financial strain. His first client, Pedro, a 26-year-old non-binary Latino fashion blogger from New York, plans to film a fishing episode for their YouTube channel. What begins as an uneasy trip turns into a fight for survival when a mechanical failure leaves them stranded at sea. Adrift in open water, the two must confront not only the dangers of the ocean, but the prejudice and mistrust that divide them.
