Stapellauf S.M.S. Kreuzer Hertha

This silent film documents the event at the Vulkan Shipyard in Stettin on April 14, 1897. It is a very early film recording showing the launch of the Imperial Navy’s large cruiser. The film was shot, among other things, during Emperor Wilhelm II’s visit to the shipyard.
