Queuebrick for iPhone 1.2.0
by Zacharyscene from Pi
Version 1.2.0 of the iPhone app is out on the App Store.
It does a great job consolidating the one to one parity push between the website and app. Of more substantial note, I managed to reduce the download size from 188MB to 21MB.
The rest:
- Pull to refresh works again on every list.
- Swiping back from the left edge is the real system gesture now, so it behaves like every other app on your phone.
- Drag to rank (available in the list view) grabs the row the moment you touch the handle. No long press, no delay.
- Film, show, and people pages pin the poster and action row after a short scroll, and the rest of the page slides beneath them.
- Search opens onto Trending, Popular, New Releases, and Top Rated before you type anything.
- The All view is gone (seemed rather confusing and redundant).
- You can pick which tab the app starts on, Home or Watchlist, in Settings.
- Small polish everywhere: sheets are solid black, scrollbars are gone, and rows fade out at the edges of lists instead of hitting a hard line.
Fixed along the way: watchlist reorders no longer revert after a refresh, a film reopened right after rating shows the new verdict, diary dates survive non-Gregorian calendar settings, and the diary search freeze is gone.
